“Manhattan” showcases a small moment: four friends, sitting in a car in the East Village of NYC, waiting for the rain to subside, while we passed the time delving into antiquated words & phrases from an old dictionary, while hood of the car drummed rhythmically. I have always been drawn to small forgettable moments…those tiny in-between times where the action has faded and you are in the waiting room of life. Those are the times that your truest self comes out and I like to capture and repurpose those moments…giving them the attention and context that they rarely have in the moment or ever after.
